Masoud Mortazavi, Associate Attorney
Masoud joined the Weinstein Law Group, PLLC in 2019. Prior to joining TWLG, Masoud was a Court Attorney for the Honorable Douglas S. Wong, an Acting Supreme Court Justice in Queens County. As a Court Attorney, he gained an in-depth understanding of the inner workings of the New York Court System.
Masoud spent time as an attorney at the insurance defense firm Faust, Goetz, Schenker & Blee LLP, and before that he was a Claims Adjuster with Nationwide Insurance, Co. Masoud’s background provides valuable insight as to how insurance companies and defense firms handle insurance liability cases.
Masoud is a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law, where he was Managing Editor of the St. John’s Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development and competed in numerous Moot Court, Salary Arbitration and Trial Competitions. He was Regional Champion of the American Association for Justice’s Student Trial Advocacy Competition in 2015.
Masoud lives in Brooklyn with his wife and son. He is passionate about defending the rights of workers and those in need of advocacy. Masoud is an avid NBA fan, and will always root for his hometown team: the Utah Jazz.
